What does ‘one incident per unit’ mean for Hospital Cash Assistance and Ambulance Cash Assistance

You get coverage for hospital confinement (Hospital Cash Assistance) and ambulance cash assistance based on the number of units you bought.  For example, you bought 3 units of Kaagapay Program, then you can get cash assistance (hospital and ambulance) 3 different times within your policy period.

What is the maximum cash assistance a person can get if they get hospitalized?

The maximum cash assistance is 1,000 pesos per unit regardless of the number of days of confinement.  If you bought more than 1 unit, then you are entitled to hospitalization cash assistance equivalent to the number of units bought.  For example, you bought 3 units, then you’re eligible to get 3 separate cash assistance of 1,000 for every hospital confinement (accident or sickness).
